BEGINNER BOOT CAMP - Annapolis

Day/Time:
Saturday AND Sunday,
February 19th and 20th
2 - 5 PM

Masks and full vaccination will be required to participate. Please either bring your vaccination card with you or fill out our vaccination form. 

The Bootcamp will be perfect for you if:

• You are new to tango

• You are looking to refresh your technique, principles of lead and follow and improvisation

• You are looking to learn the “other” role

• You want to introduce a dear friend, family member or a coworker to the joy of tango!

What to expect:
The Boot Camp is the perfect way to do a deep dive into this incredibly beautiful and complex dance, jump starting your tango journey! Composed of two 3-hour sessions over one weekend, you will learn basic movements and fundamental techniques that will help you glide your way into the dance. You will laugh, learn and meet new people! Afterwards, you can continue with our Beginner Series, Drop-in Beginner classes and practicas! No partner required; No tango experience required. 

6 WEEK ADVANCED BEGINNER SERIES with Aja & Alex - Annapolis

Suitable for those who have been taking tango classes for 3 months (followers) or 6 months (leaders). Aja and Alex will be continuing to focus on Dance Floor STAPLES! Vocabulary that will allow you to feel comfortable and competent leading and following at the milongas.

1:30 - 3 PM (Practica follows)

WEEKLY PRACTICA - Annapolis

A Fábrica instructor is available every week to give you feedback if you want it! Come grab us and let us know what you working on or just come to dance!

6 WEEK PROGRESSIVE BEGINNER SERIES - DC

Suitable if you've never taken a class in Argentine tango before or you just finished the bootcamp or just taken a few classes. Also suitable for people who have taken a very long break from tango, and folks who want to learn "the other role".

We’ve had a fantastic response to our post seeking to expand the Fábrica team and we really appreciate the support and suggestions that the tango community at large has given us. WHEN IS THE NEW ESL OPENING? We hear you!! As you all know the reopening of ESL at it’s new venue in Shaw was originally scheduled for the end of last year, but due to covid-related delays in the supply chain, construction work at the new venue has been delayed, which is why it’s now opening this Spring! HANG TIGHT PEOPLE.. IT’S…COMING!.. we promise!. and it’s close! We’ll be back on Tuesday nights with great DJ’s and the usual program of classes at the most sultry venue in town.
