Argentine Tango is a deep, multi-layered experience of connection, involving physical unity and emotional expression.

All of our classes are open to singles! (you are not required to have a partner in any of our classes, with the exception of certain advanced level workshops). This special gathering, however, has been thoughtfully and especially designed for folks currently not in a romantic relationship, who are open to finding love or partnership in a radically new and unconventional way.

There will be no interviewing each another, no pressure to perform, no proving our value, or repeating conversations we’ve had a million times. No judgement. No rejection. And no need to be interesting or good enough.

Tango is a shared somatic practice in which we allow ourselves to be seen and held, touched and known, supported and celebrated. It’s a language spoken with a deeper layer of our being. One that’s softer, and a lot more real. A layer that truly listens, that truly makes contact. It’s often said that “there is nowhere to hide in the tango embrace”. Our observation has been that the heart in all of us longs to be seen and known, as our simple, natural selves. 

Allow us to safely guide you through profound experiences of deep human connection where we practice consent, support and partnered awakening. 

The next singles gathering is strictly for folks in their 20s and 30s (and you MUST be over 21 because the venue is a bar). We hold this event for ALL age groups. If your group isn’t listed at this time please stay tuned, it will be soon!

PLEASE NOTE: This gathering is strictly for BEGINNERS (in Argentine Tango). If you are an experienced tango dancer, please sign up for one of our regular classes in Washington DC or Severn Park.
